Yesterday we had a joint RS/Priesthood. They showed us a video of the Slave Lake fire and how the church was involved. They interviewed some of the members. It was a frightening situation. Those poor people went through a lot, but were able to get a lot of help through the church organization. It was amazing to see how everything was coordinated.
The one thing they stressed was that we need to have our 72 hour kits ready and in a quick access place. They relied heavily on being in touch with people through their cell phones to find out if they were safe. The second thing they mentioned was that we need to have a cell phone charger along. I'm thinking that we need to get a second one and have it in our 72 hour kit because if we need to get out in a hurray, who would think of a cell phone charger?
Just something to think about. I thought I'd share this with everyone.
Love you all lots.

Cookbook- Important Update
Good Day Family,
As grandma mentioned, I am organizing the official Hudkins family cookbook. Finally, I had the opportunity to explore and figure out how everything on the website works. Now I need your help to populate it with your favourite recipes, cooking stories and pictures.
What I need from you...
Each family can submit 3-6 recipes using the online cookbook website tool or sending their recipe(s) to me, so I can include it. The website also has a section for memorable cooking stories and a picture. Please feel free to include these options, as it will give our family cookbook a more personal touch.

Jaxen Paul Allen Hudkins
We are very excited to share the newest Hudkins. We had Jaxen 19 minutes into the 11th, he was 8 pounds 19 and 1/2 inches. Kouper is loving his little brother, he gives lots of kisses, even in the middle of playing hockey, he will stop for a kiss. We are all doing great and happy to be home with our little men.
Just minutes old
Kouper meeting Jaxen, the biggest thank you we could give to the Birds for Kouper's first sleep over (and more then 2 hours away from mom, knowing he was with you was very comforting)
First family photo and very sleepy Mommy and Daddy
Our first moring home, Koup was asleep when we got home and we weren't sure if he understood that Jaxen was coming with us.
Playing before bed, Kouper was telling Jaxen all about how things were going to work for this little brother.
Love,
The Cassidy 4

Out with the old......In with the new!
Jordan and Kristinas OLD mobile home in Oct. 2007.
The addition helped but it was still quite small for the price that was paid for it. In the Phillippines they could have bought a mansion and still had money left over. But might not have been able to find work.
The NEW mobile home. Big improvement, Big price tag (actually it wasn't too bad a price, well worth it). It sure was a lot of work for Jordan and I to get everything ready for the move-in.
More of the old and the new!
The Old Fat Bald guy and Ariana.
Gramma Hudkins and Jace.
Happy New Year Everyone, We hope you had as good a year as we did in 2011 and that 2012 will be better! AND LIFE GOES ON! LOTS TO LOOK FORWARD TO!
LOVE, FROM Brent and Roxanne
