I used to do that with my grade two's every year. We used some skin and wood instruments as well as body percussion. We would leave the door open so we could turn off the lights and then the person who did the thunder would signal another one for the lights to flash to make lightening. It was a lot of fun and the kids loved it. Guess we should have video taped it because no one clapped for us except ourselves! Charlene

that was awesome troy, it really did sound like rain when you close your eyes!
I received this on my e-mail a while back. The thunder made me think that the stage must be very strong.
